GENERAL INFORMATION
IMMIGRATION
Passport & Visa: Participants are advised to check with their local travel agent or the nearest Chilean Embassy or Consulate for information concerning the need for a visa. Citizens from USA, Canada, Mexico and Australia do not need a visa, but have to pay a reciprocity entrance fee (cash) at airport immigration office. At the time of printing this circular, the entrance fees are: U.S.A. US$ 100, Canada US$ 55, Australia US$ 35, México US$ 15. Citizens from other countries do not have to pay this fee.

HOTEL INFORMATION
Check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 12 noon.

AIR TRAVEL INFORMATION
*Departure Airport Tax for international flights currently is US$ 26. Participants should contact the official travel agency Turismo Tajamar at the Conference Centre for their return flight reconfirmation.

TRANSFER FROM TEMUCO’S AIRPORT
Arrival and departure transfers from and to Temuco’s airport to the city of Pucón are included in the Congress Programme as follows:

a. Arrival transfer Sunday, November 14th
b. Departure transfer Saturday, November 20th
These transfers will be provided only to those participants who have registered through the meeting packages, according to fixed flights which will be informed on due time.
Travel time from Temuco’s airport to the city of Pucón is about one and a half hour drive.

INSURANCE
Health care, dental and ambulance services are not free in Chile. The Organising Committee will not accept any liability for personal injuries or loss or damage of property belonging to Congress participants and accompanying persons. We kindly recommend that you take a comprehensive medical and travel insurance. Attendants who will participate in field trips are also kindly advised to take a health/travel.

The Organising Committee invites companies for commercial exhibits of services and goods relevant to the aims and activities of the IAVCEI General Assembly. Commercial exhibit space will be located adjacent to the main conference rooms and poster area.
